We are a registered ASDAN Centre that provides regulated qualifications, accredited curriculum programmes and a range of other courses to engage, elevate and empower young people aged 16 to 25 years in greatest need.

Our goal is to engage each young person through relevant and motivating courses to achieve meaningful learning outcomes, which elevate them to go on to further education, training and work, and empower them to take control of their lives.

We believe that each young person should have the opportunity to discover, develop and make use of their abilities to affirm their identities, contribute to society, and challenge educational and social inequalities.

​

To achieve essential ‘life skills’ - these are the skills needed for living independently and taking good care of yourself we use a programme from ASDAN - it’s a simple way of practical learning that is perfect for young people.

 

We use the programme to help each young person grow and develop in six key areas of their life.

• Finance and budgeting – to help you look after your own money and avoid getting into debt.

• A place of your own – so you can keep your home safe, healthy and comfortable.

• Education, employment and training – so you can get access to courses and job opportunities.

• Cooking on a budget – to help you buy foods and prepare meals that are healthy, tasty and affordable.

• Health and well-being – for keeping yourself physically and mentally healthy

• Race and culture – to boost your confidence and help you understand people from different cultures and backgrounds.

This programme is for improving each young persons level of independence.
