We offer group home settings sharing spacious modern homes which can support up to four young people in comfort in each home.
We have two semi-independent homes that are all located in Canterbury, Kent. They are in excellent locations with good transport links, local colleges, leisure facilities and local / national retailers close by.
The staff team work to ensure that the following ethos and values are an integral part of life at all of our homes.
Healthy living and the pursuit of an active lifestyle that includes sports and leisure as a means of achieving and enjoying, is central to the ethos that is intended to promote social and independence skills.
Supported living can be a positive choice and experience at an important stage in a young person’s life. This can be achieved by helping young people develop their identity and focus them on self-help and self-reliance.
Supported living should provide a skilled service from committed staff in a safe, appropriately structured and nurturing environment.
The staff team have a responsibility to make sure that young people in supported living are protected from abuse and neglect.
Every home has a fully fitted modern kitchen with dedicated food storage areas and each young person has the full use of a cooker, fridge / freezer and washing machine. All homes have a good-sized lounge with a communal television plus a dedicated room for key working / educational sessions.
